Riviera are hiring young people with a great attitude, a hands-on aptitude and those who genuinely want to make a strong contribution with a great company. They are not interested in any old general application that starts off with ‘I’d like to apply for an apprenticeship’. Tell them:
- What specific apprenticeship you are applying for
- Why you are applying for that particular trade
- Why you want to work with Riviera
Some of Riverias trades have prerequisites:
- Electrical applicants
- MUST have a Cert II in Electrotechnology completed by Dec 2025
- A STRONG understanding, knowledge of Maths
- Engineering
- MUST have a Cert II in mechanical or engineering disciplines
- All other trades
- relevant studies and experience such as Cert I in Construction
Please be aware – Electrotechnology and Engineering are Riveria’s most competitive trades. If you are genuinely pursuing a career as a sparky or a diesel fitter you will need to have a strong application to be able to progress against your field.
