Our Year 9, 11 and 12 students and their families are invited to join us for a
chance to explore their options for the future. There will be an opportunity to
engage with a variety of pathway providers who will be available for
one-on-one conversations, ready to provide you with guidance on your future
pathway whether that be further study, training or work.
Year 9 students and families will also have the opportunity to meet and speak
with Varsity College Teaching staff about subjects in preparation for JET Plan
Subject Selection.
Providers include:
- Tertiary Providers e.g. Griffith University
- Vocational providers e.g. TAFE
- Apprenticeship providers e.g. Busy at work
- Australian Defence Force
- Queensland Police
- Work support services e.g. Civil Safety
- Varsity College Curriculum Leaders and Teachers
Students, Parents & caregivers are invited to the following three
information sessions during the evening:
- Year 9 JET Plan Subject Selection information for Year 9 students and their
parents/carers – subject and senior pathway information held at 1.30pm,
2:30pm and 4:45pm in our Secondary Campus Auditorium (45mins). - Year 12 Information: Expectations, Post-Schooling Resources, External
Exams, Formal, Graduation held at 3:30pm in our Secondary Campus
Auditorium (30mins). - QTAC Information Session for parents of students in Year 12 applying to a
Queensland University held at 4pm in our Secondary Campus Auditorium (30 mins)
