Last week, our Year 8 and Year 9 students embarked on an unforgettable journey to Lake Ainsworth Sport and Recreation Centre in Lennox Heads for the Aspire Athlete Development Program camp. The camp aimed to foster team building, personal development, and leadership skills among our aspiring athletes.
Against the backdrop of beautiful, sunny weather, our students delved into a myriad of exhilarating activities. From rock climbing to sailing, kayaking to archery tag, and even enjoying pontoons, slip and slide adventures, and beach activities, there was no shortage of excitement and opportunities for growth.
Guided by experienced camp instructors, our students received glowing reports for their participation and enthusiasm. They demonstrated resilience, trust, cooperation, and leadership throughout the camp, showcasing the values we strive to instil in our students.
The Aspire Athlete Development Program camp was not just a week of fun; it was a transformative experience where our students honed their skills, forged new friendships, and discovered the depths of their potential. We look forward to witnessing the continued growth and success of our aspiring athletes as they carry the lessons learned at camp into their future endeavours.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated teachers, Mr. Riley and Ms. Breeden, whose guidance and support were instrumental in making this camp a resounding success. Thank you for your commitment to our students’ growth and development.
