At first break, students also joined in a campus-wide scavenger hunt, competing for the prize of choosing their group’s seating location at Formal!

BELIEVE Week continues with more fun and excitement for our Year 12 students!

Yesterday, the quad came alive with endless games of handball as everyone embraced the 'Future Careers' dress-up theme, and today the campus was a sea of colour for 'Wig Wednesday', with seniors showing off their vibrant hairstyles and snapping photos at the pre-graduation photo booth, complete with caps and gowns!

To kick off BELIEVE Week our Secondary Campus hosted the highly anticipated annual Staff vs Students Volleyball Match, where for the first time in years our students claimed victory!

Adding to the fun, our Year 12's took to the court dressed as their favourite teachers, while swapping roles with staff who proudly donned the Senior uniform. We can't wait for even more fun later this week!

As our Year 12 Students approach the end of their schooling journey, next week our Secondary Campus will be holding BELIEVE Week, full of fun events and activities for our Seniors to enjoy!

Today marked the final day of applied classes for our Year 12 students, meaning the final day of school for many. To mark this occasion and to begin the BELIEVE Week festivities, our seniors were treated to a wonderful BBQ, participated in Pink Shirt Friday and left their mark on 2025 with their fingerprints!

We can't wait to see what fun the next week has in store!

Last night, our Secondary Instrumental Music students came together for a truly heartfelt farewell concert, honouring their outgoing peers.

As always, it was an emotional tribute to the Class of 2025, with many bidding farewell after contributing so much to our program over an amazing 12 years.

Our Instrumental Music Program will no doubt feel different without each and every one of you, and we are deeply grateful for the years of hard work and unwavering dedication. Thank you and bravo!

Congratulations to Kyra Spence and Roxanne Albertyn for their incredible achievements, truly solidifying themselves as some of our next generation champions!

Kyra Spence has capped off a remarkable season where her talent and determination shone through! Her achievement in the recent National Schools Championship adds to an impressive representative year, which also saw her earn a spot in the Gold Coast Suns extended training squad!

Meanwhile, Roxanne Albertyn continues to shine in the pool, with her outstanding results putting her firmly on track for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games! Claiming multiple gold medals at the Australian School Sport National Titles, Roxanne has once again backed up last year’s performances and is proving to get stronger and stronger each season!

Last Friday, the Gold Coast Eisteddfod officially announced that Varsity College has been awarded the Most Outstanding Instrumental Music Program – Secondary Campus, as well as the Most Outstanding Instrumental Music Program – Primary Campus – across our Band and Strings Programs at the 2025 Eisteddfod.

On top of that, our ensembles have taken out 50 other awards and placements; these include our Chamber Strings group being announced Most Outstanding Secondary School Ensemble, and Most Outstanding Primary School Ensemble for our Beginner Strings Ensemble (Gold and Blue).
