Congratulations to all that were involved in last week’s wonderfully uplifting Charity Football Match. The game had all the drama that football produces, with scores tied at the final whistle and the inevitable penalty shootout that decided the match, with GFC running out as winners after a 3-0 victory after penalties!
More importantly, the event generated over $300 for haveafeed.org who have been helping the Gold Coast Community by providing assistance and relief with hot meals and food parcels.
Thank you to all staff that gave up their valuable time, our students who worked tirelessly to put this all together and finally the crowd of support that came along for the ride. Congratulations to all, and no doubt we will be needing a rematch!
