This week, our Secondary Campus students headed out to represent our college and compete in the GSS Cross Over Finals for 2025, where the northern, southern and central areas come together with the winners from their areas to compete for the overall champions of GSS!
Across 17 teams throughout the coast in a variety of sports, we had 7 teams emerge victorious! A huge congratulations goes out to Girls AFL, Junior Girls Basketball, Year 9 Boys Basketball, Year 10 Boys Basketball, Senior Basketball, and both our Junior and Senior Tennis teams for their incredible success, as well as all of our teams who fought hard in the competition!
As a result of our teams’ successes, Varsity College has been named the overall Runners Up for GCS Interschool Sport in 2025!
GCS includes 10 of the public high schools on the Gold Coast from Foxwell SHS in the north, all the way down to Palm Beach Currumbin SHS. This achievement is an amazing result for everyone at Varsity and the commitment that everyone has shown towards the GCS program over the last three terms!

These students have been recognised for their contribution towards their GCSC Team by their teachers for a variety of different reasons such as outstanding players, amazing teamwork, always contributing and always willing to help out.
