What a HUGE month of basketball we have had, with 5 of our teams competing at the Champion Basketball School of Queensland tournament in Logan late in term 3 and early term 4.
Our Senior Boys and Girls teams took to the hardwood to compete in their 13th CBSQ. This year we also saw the inaugural Junior CBSQ tournament allow for our (7/8) Sophomore and (9/10) teams to ply their trades across four big days of basketball in the first ever Junior Champion Basketball School of Queensland tournament. All 5 teams played exceptionally well and represented our program with passion and pride. Here are the results and some pics from the tournaments
Sophomore Boys (7/8) – Finished 2nd in the State making it to the Gold Medal game and falling to Brisbane State High School 66 – 73 in the final. These boys will be a force to reckon with in the coming years.
Sophomore Girls (7/8) – Finished 7th in what was a very successful tournament for them.
Junior Boys (9/10) – Finished in 11th place after a great CBSQ Campaign.
Senior Boys – Finished in 15th place.
Finally, our Senior Girls – Finished with a SILVER MEDAL in Division 2 to round out a very successful 2020.
