Recently, our Primary Campus Aspire Robotics team proudly represented Varsity College at the Gold Coast SUMO Robotics Championships. This event brought together 18 schools and more than 140 teams from across the region to compete in exciting one-on-one battles of robotic design, engineering and coding.
For many of our students, this was both their first year in Aspire Robotics and their first robotics competition. In the lead-up to the event, they worked tirelessly, often giving up their lunchtimes to design, build, program and test their robots, while overcoming a range of complex engineering challenges.
Their dedication and perseverance resulted in some outstanding achievements on the day, including several competition awards! Congratulations to all our Robotics Aspire students involved for their dedication, teamwork and effort throughout the competition. They certainly did us proud!
