Today, our Primary Campus was lucky enough to be visited by local Author Kate Foster, who told fascinating stories about her journey as an author and shared her enduring message of “Your Story Matters!”.
Throughout this term, our Year 6 students have enjoyed reading one of Kate’s wonderful books, ‘Paws’. Students particularly enjoyed the familiar setting and characters in the book, including some of our very own teachers, inspired from Kate’s two sons having attended Varsity College themselves.
Inspired by Kate’s visit, our students are eagerly gearing up for the next term, where they will bring her message to life by crafting their own narrative texts, ready to be shared with the world.
