The Queensland Government is looking for trade apprentices to join the QBuild team in our local region! Available trades include carpentry, refrigeration mechanic, electrical, painting, and plumbing.
As the Queensland Government’s builder, QBuild plays an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations, and correctional and health facilities.
A QBuild apprenticeship offers a flexible, safe, inclusive, and diverse work environment with a chance to earn while you learn.

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and:
- have completed year 10 and passed Maths and English
- be at least 15 years of age at the time of commencement
- be able to transport themself and their tools to and from work and training sites (driver’s licence is not a mandatory requirement)
- be willing to obtain a Construction Industry White Card prior to commencement.
