Year 3 classes, Generation Green students and Year 5 and 6 Aspire classes had the true privilege of Sahil Jha from ‘Save Soil’ visiting our Primary campus this week to pass on his important global message of caring for our soil!
Sahil is cycling an incredible 20,000km across 4 continents as part of the Save Soil Conscious Planet campaign. His mission is to raise awareness about the global soil crisis, advocate for sustainable agricultural practices that can restore soil health and to educate our future generation.
Our students were astounded by the fascinating journey that he is on, learnt a lot about soil’s effect on nutrition levels in our food and realised that we all have to play our part in protecting this beautiful planet for our future. We wish Sahil great pedal power as he continues his journey through Australia!
