Students visit the Bond University Highschool Model United Nations

Recently Varsity College students Faith Cash, Madison McGregor, Chloe Payne, Andrew Fan, Fynn Witkowski, Tahani Sarwar, Andre Duque and Ayati Gor, took part in in the Bond University Highschool Model United Nations (BUHMUN).

The purpose of the conference is to inspire and shape the future leaders of tomorrow. The two-day conference challenges students to embrace the role of a modern diplomat and represent a country’s position in simulated international debates addressing the world’s most pressing issues.

This year’s conference was a massive success for all the students with Varsity College winning the Secretary General’s best delegation award and Ayati winning a Journalism Award.

Another highlight of the event was Faith Cash and Madison McGregor chairing the Security Council Committee, a role often taken by Bond University Students.

Many thanks to Miss De Britt and Mr Sultmann for helping prepare the students for this incredible experience.
