On June 8, athletes from the Varsity College Aspire Rowing Program travelled to Beaudesert to complete at a regional completion known as the Trophy Regatta, which proved to be the most successful result the College has seen at this annual event.
Athletes achieved an impressive medal tally; entering into 22 races and placing in 16. Through continuous effort and enthusiasm Varsity College pulled in an amazing 7 Gold, 3 Silver, & 6 Bronze. As a result, the College took out the Age Champion Trophies in the Year 9 Girls, Year 10 Boys and Open Boys age group categories, as well as receiving the Rob Thomason Trophy (Boys Open Quad) for their efforts.
The coaching staff would like to congratulate all athletes for these tremendous achievements and thank all parents and supporters for their continual support. Varsity Vikings have proved that they are a force to be reckoned with.
