Yesterday, our Year 7 & 8 ASPIRE Basketball teams played a series of games against visiting school Palm Beach Currumbin SHS.
Our Division 2 boys started off the afternoon with a dominant performance led by Kade and Lucas Song. Our Sophomore girls took to the court in what was a much closer game, but the class of Lani Warneke and Kiani Thornley was just too much for the PBC Reds as our girls ran away with the win. A huge shout out to Maddie Jenkins who brought incredible energy and tenacity to the court.
The final game of the afternoon saw our Division 1 Boys take to the floor in what was a white wash from start to finish. The Vikings beat the Reds in a huge win lead by inspiring performances by Howie Feng, Ryder Blott and newcomer Bob Henderson.
