Today we celebrate World Environment Day with Generation Green leading the way!
World Environment Day aims to raise awareness and take action on critical environmental issues, such as global warming, marine pollution, wildlife conservation and reforestation.
The Secondary Campus kicked off the day with a round of Environmental Kahoot, creating upcycled shirt tote bags, art activities and competition and carbon footprinting during lunchtime activities in the quad.
Generation Green then headed to the Primary Campus to engage students in World Environment Day quizzes.
In the spirit of World Environment Day, Support For Learning senior students on the secondary campus have been busy making beeswax wraps, a sustainable, reusable food wrap, that not only cuts down on packaging wastage but also smells amazing! These are being sold on campus to fund the continuing production of sustainable items.
