Recently our Year 8 and 9 AMS students swapped the classroom for Sea World in two unforgettable excursions!

Our Year 8 students explored the survival secrets of polar bears and investigated the impacts of climate change in the Bear Essentials program, while Year 9 students dived into the world of marine ecosystems and conservation challenges during the Hunger Games adventure.

From science discoveries to teamwork, and a little bit of rain and a whole lot of fun, the days were full of action, learning and laughs along the way!

This week, our Secondary Campus students proudly participated in our 'Run + Walk 4 A Cause' event, as part of our annual Cross Country.

Our students ran and walked not only to stay active and support their house, but to raise money and awareness for a variety of meaningful causes, helping the college, individuals and the wider community.

Thank you to all who contributed in helping us make a difference and a congratulations to each and every student and staff member who participated in running the course!

Last week our Primary Campus held their Cross Country event for 2025. Students from Prep to Year 6 ran our oval course, earning points for their sporting houses!

We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated, compassionate and highly skilled group of Guidance Officers who play a critical role in the lives of our students and the overall wellbeing of our community.

Guidance Officers are often the quiet heroes of our schools, providing a listening ear, guiding students through challenges and helping to create pathways for success both personally and academically.

We are so lucky to have Geoff, Beth, Jess and Sara as part of our Varsity College family! Thank you so much for the incredible impact you have on our students, families and school culture as a whole!

This year, our Secondary Campus will proudly be hosting the 'Run + Walk 4 A Cause' event, taking place next week on the 7th of May at Pizzey Park as part of our annual Cross Country event.

We encourage our students and staff to stay active while supporting a meaningful college cause that benefits both the college, individuals and the wider community. Participants will nominate a loved one, lost one, or a passionate organisation to support through your heartfelt donations.

Local businesses are invited to contribute through vouchers or product donations to enhance the event experience, with prize packs from which being awarded to random finishers at the conclusion of the day.

This morning students from across our campuses were joined by members of our Executive Team as they marched in the Robina ANZAC Day Commemoration procession, with our College Captains being given the honour of leading us as flag bearers.

Varsity College and our community pause on the 25th of April each year to remember the courage, honour and sacrifice of those who defend our country – yesterday, today, tomorrow…. always.
