What an incredible day it was at our Secondary Campus Athletics Carnival for 2026!

Competing in a wide range of track and field events, students earned points for their houses and had an absolute blast while doing so! The crowds were a sea of colour between students showing their support of their houses, alongside our Year 12 students in their amazing outfits!

Congratulations to all students who participated, a big shoutout to those who went home with medals, and a special thank you to all the staff who made this year’s event possible! #wearevarsity #govikings

Recently, our Varsity College Instrumental Music Ensembles performed at both the DoE Fanfare Music Festival and Regional Finals!

It is with great pleasure that we congratulate our Chamber Strings and Acacia Strings ensembles for each being chosen as the Regional Finals Most Ourstanding Ensembles!

A massive congratulations also goes out to all of our ensembles for their incredible performances and achievements, collectively receiving 3 Silver Awards, 1 Gold Award and an astounding 6 Platinum Awards; the highest achievement Fanfare has to offer!

This week our year 5 and 6 students competed in a range of sports from football and tennis to ultimate frisbee as Gala Sport returned for 2026!

Students showcased their sportsmanship and enthusiasm by competing against teams from local state schools in a variety of sports. We commend their spirited participation and integrity throughout the day.

Last week our College proudly celebrated World Environment Day with the help of our amazing Generation Green students!

On our Primary Campus, students led and facilitated a range of fun, hands-on activities for all year levels, promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices. Using recyclable materials and eco-friendly resources, students explored creative ways to care for our planet while learning the importance of reducing waste and making sustainable choices.

This week our Secondary Campus officially commenced the Push-Up Challenge for 2026, already collectively hitting over 29,000 Push-ups!

Every push-up, sit-up, plank, wall sit or assisted push-up helps us raise awareness for mental health, encourage important conversations and showing support for those in our community who may be struggling.

This challenge is about much more than push-ups. The target of 3,307 push-ups represents the 3,307 lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2025. Through our collective efforts, we are aiming to highlight the importance of mental health, encourage conversations, and remind our community that support and connection matter.
