After 13 years of education, we say good luck and goodbye to the Year 12 Graduating Class of 2025!

Following their Graduation Ceremony on Monday night, our Seniors yesterday walked their final lap our Secondary Campus, as they were farewelled by staff and students with a guard of honour. Our students bid a heartfelt farewell to the college that has been their second home for so many years.

We wish you all nothing but success, joy and excitement for your future endeavours!

Remember to get your tickets for this Friday, 21 November for our ‘Take Note’ Classroom Music Concert, showcasing the talent of our classroom music students. You can expect soloists through to ensemble performances, when they present their own choice repertoire to showcase their passion for music.

A round of applause as we congratulate seventeen of our most advanced musicians who in 2025, chosen from thousands of applications across the state have represented Varsity College in ‘Creative Generation’ and/or the ‘Honours Ensemble Program’!

Students involved in Creative Generation (CGEN) attended rehearsals in Brisbane and performed in the spectacular production, alongside other outstanding performers from State Schools across Queensland.

Representing Varsity College at a National, State, or Regional level, seventeen of our students performed in the 2025 Honours Ensemble Program. These students participated in an intensive large ensemble rehearsal and performance program with an esteemed conductor, and other advanced students from hundreds of schools.

A huge round of applause to our incredibly talented Creative Arts students for their outstanding performance in last week's Musical Theatre Medley Showcase!

Featuring numbers from Hairspray, Wicked and many more beloved musicals, the showcase was a sold out success that highlighted our students' incredible singing, dancing and acting talents!

A special congratulations also goes to Director Emily Jones and Choreographer Hayley Lugton for bringing their creative visions to life and guiding our performers to shine so brightly on stage!

Last week, our Primary Campus proudly hosted the StepLab Instructional Coaching Intensive, with coaching experts Ollie Lovell and Rory McCaughey, welcoming schooling leaders from all across South East Queensland.

This hands-on workshop blended evidence-informed theory with real-world practice. Coaches engaged in scripting, roleplaying, and receiving feedback to sharpen their skills and deepen their impact!
