At Varsity College, we are excited to be partnering with Raise Foundation to bring their Youth Mentoring Program to our school. Running across Terms 2 and 3, the program will support a targeted group of Year 8 and 9 students to build confidence, resilience, and positive connections.

We’re now looking for mentors in our community who want to make a meaningful impact! By sharing your skills, knowledge and encouragement, you can help guide and inspire a local young person to reach their full potential.

No experience is needed - just a willingness to listen, support and be a positive role model. Full training and ongoing support provided.

What a joyful end to the term! Our wonderful Prep students participated in an Easter Hat Parade, showing off their beautiful creations, followed yesterday with a range of activities for an end of term celebration!

Today our Secondary Campus students proudly participated in our 'Run + Walk 4 A Cause' event, as part of our annual Cross Country!

Pizzey park was a sea of colours with our incredible students getting in the spirit by dressing in their respective houses, running and walking not only to stay active but to raise money for Youngcare!

Thank you to all who contributed in helping us make a difference and a congratulations to each and every student and staff member who participated in running the course!

Last week, our celebrations continued on our Primary Campus as they too celebrated Harmony Week! This was a perfect opportunity for all students to join conversations about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone, which is integral to our positive school culture.

Students were invited to wear traditional clothing of their cultural heritage, as they proudly walked our harmony tunnel, whilst their peers and staff members lined the tunnel in celebration!

The sporty season is here with our Primary Campus this week holding their Cross Country event for 2026! Students from Prep to Year 6 ran our oval course, earning points for their sporting houses!

We would like to congratulate all the students who took part in the event, and give a special shoutout to those who received ribbons for their remarkable performance!

Last week, our Secondary Campus students celebrated Harmony Week, engaging in a variety of activities each day with everything from Pi Day, world trivia and a staff vs students volleyball, to having the pleasure of viewing a Polynesian Dance, performed by our very own Secondary Students!

Recently, our Primary Campus held their first instalment of Music on the Green for 2026!

Music on the Green a platform for students to demonstrate their musical talents, such as singing or playing an instrument, to a large and supportive audience, outside under the shade of our playground trees. It also provides a wonderful space for students of all ages to come together as a community to support and encourage their friends and peers!

We loved hearing our students' incredible vocals from this instalment and can’t wait for more musical talent as the term progresses!
