A round of applause as we congratulate twenty of our most advanced musicians who have successfully gained places in both National and State Honours Ensemble Programs, designed to help extend and encourage their pursuit of musical excellence!

Congratulations to all for your successes in SHEP Brisbane and South-East Queensland already this year, and good luck to those participating in both SHEP QLD and AHEP in the upcoming coming school holiday!

There will be plenty to explore at Arts Under the Stars this October, with art and culture taking centre stage across the event.

Visit our Visual Art Experience to discover works created by our talented students, browse student-designed merchandise at the Future Artists & Twenty1 T’s Merch Store, and head indoors to our Film Cinema for a showcase of original student productions.

For the first time, the event will also feature a dedicated Chinese Precinct, celebrating Chinese culture, cuisine and our College’s language program.

With numerous 1st, 2nd and 3rd Placements under our belt, the Gold Coast Eisteddfod has officially announced that our Varsity College Secondary Campus has been crowned the Aggerate Winner across the Band and String divisions at the 2026 Eisteddfod, with our Primary Campus also being crowned runner up for the Most Outstanding School!

On top of that, our ensembles have taken out 50 other awards and placements; these include our ‘Senior Band’ being announced Most Outstanding Primary School band, and Most Outstanding Primary School Ensemble for our ‘Acacia Strings Ensemble!’

Happy Father's Day!

Our @varsitycollegepandc gave our students a beautiful opportunity last week to celebrate the valuable men in their lives, with our Primary Campus Father’s Day stall for 2026!

Volunteers gave their time to assist our Primary Campus students in choosing the perfect gift, and their smiles were infectious! We wish all dad’s and father figures a wonderful day today and thank them for being fabulous role models and carers for our children.

A special thank you also goes out to @hermannvorstermp for his support at this year’s stall!

Our United Nations Club and Academic Pillar recently collaborated to host our first ever Secondary Campus Book Fair as part of our annual UNICEF fundraising initiative!

Throughout the term our community donated preloved books, overflowing the shelves in the DLC! Students and staff were then able to browse the shelves, purchase books and enjoy a wonderful sausage sizzle!

Overall, we were able to raise almost $2000 for children in need, hitting our goal for the year!

Arts Under the Stars is bringing another huge evening of entertainment to our Secondary Campus this October.

Across the Main Stage and throughout the event, our talented students will perform a range of live music, drama and film, alongside roving entertainment across the precinct. From soloists and bands to drama and student productions, there will be plenty to see and enjoy throughout the evening.

Congratulations to our Year 7 Future Performers, who have been nominated for a National Award and will perform at the Wakakirri National Showcase next week! This is an incredible achievement, and we are immensely proud of the dedication, creativity, and talent our students have shown throughout this journey!

This year, in response to the theme "Guardians of Us," our students created a powerful performance about Steve Irwin and the legacy he continues to leave through his family and the work of Wildlife Warriors.

We wish them the absolute best for their performance next week. Chookas!

Another year, another incredible Book Week Character Day! Last week our Primary Campus student had the chance to dress up and showcase their favourite characters, while immersing themselves in captivating books and walking the runway at our annual costume parade.

Each year we are in awe at the incredible costumes, and the pure joy and enthusiasm it brings to not just the students, but the whole campus.

A big thank you goes out to our staff, students, and families for making this year’s costume day so successful.

Before our eagerly awaited Primary Campus Character Parade today, our Aspire Robotics class was fortunate to be able to share their engineered designs with @leonrebellomp.

Students presented their innovation projects for the recent 1st Lego League Rookie competition and demonstrated how their robots navigated through challenges on the competition “field.” They then showcased their robots for the upcoming VEX Queensland Championships, sharing some of the challenges they have overcome in their design and coding.

It was wonderful to be able to share the students amazing achievements with Leon today!

Brodie McGregor Makes Varsity History with NBL Signing.

A huge congratulations to 2025 graduate Brodie McGregor, who has signed a two-year development player contract with the Illawarra Hawks in the NBL!

Fresh from helping the Gold Coast Rollers claim an NBL1 state championship, Brodie impressed at the Hawks’ training camp and now becomes the first player in Varsity College ASPIRE Basketball history to progress to the NBL.
