On Thursday of week 3 in Term 3, the Year 8 AMS students took part in their Maths incursion – Elastic Powered Cars.
They spent the day creating, designing and testing their elastic powered cars and then entered them into “The Championships” in lesson 4.
Congratulations to team Choi Oi – Mia, Josephine and Lucia – they took out 1st prize for their overall design, accuracy of getting around the course and being the most cost efficient in making their car.
