Yesterday, National Reconciliation Week commenced on our Secondary Campus through the form of freshly baked bush tucker cookies.
The lemon myrtle ingredient in the cookies are native to the land on which we live, work and play, and have been dried & ground from our very own tree. Native macadamia nuts were also used and are in fact indigenous to Australia.
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
