This term, Business Studies’ students have been learning about the financial considerations, services and risks that a business may need to consider when operating and expanding. Students were visited by our community’s local Financial Planner – Paul Richardson from Touchstone Wealth who provided valuable information on the importance of financial goal setting, budgeting, savings, superannuation, investment options, needs vs wants, pitfalls of loans – defaults, cautioning on use of quick, short term loans that encourage spending beyond their capacity. Paul fielded some thought-provoking questions from our students, who clearly are interested in becoming financially secure in the future.
