Following yet another successful Harmony Day last Thursday, the Primary Campus hosted our third Fathering Project event – ‘A Celebration of Culture’.
Fathers and Father-figures came together with their children after school to partake in activities from all around the world, to celebrate the diverse culture that we have here at Varsity College. The event was in line with Harmony Day and finished the day off perfectly with some Origami, Chinese Diabolo and Cricket amongst many other activities. There were some light refreshments including a Sausage Sizzle and Fairy Bread to fuel those active kids (and their dads).
The event provided an opportunity for dads to enjoy some quality time with their children but also connect with other dads in a low-key, fun environment. We look forward to seeing even more fathers at our next Fathering Project event in Term 2.
