Senior Students from Generation Green spent Saturday morning working with OurBeaches from Gold Coast City Council planting natives at Bilinga Beach.
While the event was nearly cancelled due to the rain, the students soldiered on and the morning ended up sunny and warm.
Dozens of dune plants were planted, fertilised and watered. Cuttings were then taken from existing dune plants and also planted. The students enjoyed their outdoor morning giving back to the coastal ecosystem that gives us so much and represented Varsity College beautifully.
