Generation Green hosted a sustainable BBQ on the secondary campus in week 4. The team were able to raise $374.85 for Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical non-governmental organisation best known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases.
Not only was the great Aussie snag and a sweet treat on offer, but the team were also selling reusable keep cups and collecting used bread bag tags. The tags are reused in art, which the proceeds of, goes to purchase wheelchairs for those in need.
Great job to all involved for giving to a fantastic cause and raising awareness for staff and students alike!
