Our Primary Campus was a sea of orange and international dress today, celebrating Harmony Day. Students and staff came together to share meaningful conversations, promoting inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all.
Students in international dress proudly walked our harmony tunnel, whilst their peers and staff members lined the tunnel in celebration. Junior Canteen provided over 800 delicious lunches from around the world, and classes worked together to complete their ‘Everyone Belongs’ class pledge poster.
Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s diversity. It’s a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home – from our traditional owners to those who have come from many countries around the world. Everyone belongs at Varsity College.
