Last week, our Primary Campus students from Prep to Year 4 experienced a visit from everyone’s favourite giraffe, Healthy Harold!
Alongside Harold, Mariana Roehe Conceicao our Life Education health educator presented key health messages to support students in age appropriate and fun ways.
Prevention through health education has never been more important than it is right now, both in terms of physical health and social and emotional wellbeing. Our Life Education health modules cover a range learning experiences including; ways to keep safe at home, school and in the community, skills for building positive relationships with friends, and nutrition, healthy eating and the importance of physical activity.
Parents and carers are encouraged to explore the range of useful tips and resources designed to help children navigate their primary school years at https://lifeeducationqld.org.au/life-education-hub/
