Students from the Instrumental Music program on the Varsity College Primary Campus were very fortunate to host a combined workshop with Robina State School, Merrimac State School and Southport State School during the first week of school this term.
Over 200 students on 2 separate days worked through new repertoire with their teachers and visiting teachers from the other schools. All students that participated in the workshop are currently in their second year of learning, and really enjoyed being part of the workshop.
It was great to see all of the students enjoying making music together, but also socialising and forming new friendships due to being part of the workshop.
Music staff and students are really looking forward to the next opportunity to host another workshop in the future!
