This term, our Primary Campus students are reaching for the stars with StarLab!
Year 2 blasted off on a virtual journey through the solar system, exploring push and pull forces in action and visiting different planets through the immersive dome show ‘Secret of the Cardboard Rocket.’
Year 5 Explored how much the Earth’s surface changes over time due to natural processes and human activity. Through the captivating dome show ‘Earth’s Wild Ride,’ they discovered our planet’s history from asteroid impacts and dinosaurs, to volcanoes and rivers reshaping the landscape, all told through the eyes of an astronaut to his grandchildren from the moon!
Our Academic Aspire Year 5 & 6 students enjoyed a night under the stars, starting with the indoor cosmodrome planetarium experience, followed by an outdoor telescope viewing and a laser-guided sky tour! Students had the opportunity to get an up close look at not only our moon, but Saturn and it’s rings! A truly stellar experience for our budding astronomers!
