Riverside Picnic Tee
$34.00
My name is Mia and I like to create artworks consisting of sketching and watercolour. I enjoy drawing and creating all art, but most of all, I love to create digital art.
My t-shirt consists of two animals drinking tea by a river and is framed in a polaroid like border. I added components of the artwork to overlap the border to try to make the artwork look soft. I used warmer colours for the front focal points and used cooler colours to paint the back and less important areas, which helped bring attention to the characters.
This artwork style is inspired by the less realistic and warmer characters and designs often found in Chinese figures and décor. I was inspired to create this artwork because of its surrealistic nature of it, two creatures sitting by the river seemingly having a tea party and untroubled by the problems of everyday life. It depicts the departure of everyday problems like school, work, and laundry?
