As part of our commitment to fostering the wellbeing of our students and staff, we celebrated World Health Day in the last week of Term 1. We did this in conjunction with Woolworths – Robina North, who donated mountains, and I really mean mountains, of free fruit for our students to enjoy. Our primary campus took part in an exercise circuit and ate the Woolies fruit and the Lions Club toast on the Tuesday morning.
The secondary students enjoyed the fruit and free water provided by Woolies on the Thursday and Friday to coincide with a healthy day out in the sunshine at our Cross Country. Lots of fresh air, exercise, sunshine and nourishing food always helps the wellbeing of our young learners! A huge ‘thank you’ to Woolworths Robina North and to our regular volunteers from the Lions Club.
