This term, students in Aspire AMS Years 8-10 have all enjoyed their key excursions for the year. The Aspire AMS program embeds these events to provide students with rich, real world experiences related to the content that they are learning, as well as giving them opportunities to develop their skills in critical thinking, team work, and leadership.
The capstone of the AMS program are the year 10 Aspire AMS Mathematical Methods and Physics classes. These classes were invited to join “THE QUEST” at Thunderbird Park, Tamborine Mountain in week 2 this term. Students needed to work in teams, apply critical thinking, and demonstrate leadership capabilities in order to solve problems and complete the challenge.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, with a lot of fun had by all.
