Recently, our Year 11 Biology students travelled to the University of Queensland, St. Lucia campus to participate in their Experience Ecology program. After an early morning journey, students practiced numerous ecological data collection techniques (including measuring the diversity of various preserved insects), consolidated classroom learning, had the opportunity to explore the UQ Campus during our lunch break and, last but not least, enjoyed the unique lecture style of Dr. Gurion Ang as he prepared us for our upcoming IA2.
