2024 College Dux

A huge congratulations to our 2024 College Dux Mia Bitzios, who received an absolutely phenomenal ATAR of 99.75, placing her in the top 0.25% of Queensland students!

Not only this, Mia was captain of our ASPIRE Basketball Open Girls team who were GCSC 2024 Champions, she competed in the Gold Coast Invitational Basketball Tournament, and the Australian Schools Nationals for basketball. She was selected as a member of the Gold Coast Rollers QSL Youth team, the QSL DIV 1 team and was our first female player to be selected into the GC Rollers NBL1 team!

Mia is a qualified instrumental music instructor who works with young people from Varsity and other schools around the Gold Coast and more importantly than any of her achievements, Mia is an incredibly warm, humble and kind young woman. Mia has chosen to study a double degree in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business at QUT, and was awarded the 2025 Women in Engineering scholarship at her chosen university.

We are beyond proud of your achievements and have no doubt you will continue to soar and inspire others in the future! We hope our future generations will follow in your lead, and in your own words: ‘Embrace every possible opportunity’!

We wish you the best while you continue your studies and can’t wait to welcome you back for our Pillar Excellence Evening later in the year!
