At the recent Junior Council Expo, student representatives were tasked with sharing a survey on how young people like to be communicated with and how the City of Gold Coast can improve. Thanks to the amazing effort from our students, Varsity College came out on top with the highest number of surveys completed, making up a whopping 17% of the feedback received!
Yesterday, our Year 11 assembly was joined by Local Councillor Dan Doran as he presented prizes of 4x $50 vouchers to our Secondary Campus Junior Council students, alongside a $500 voucher for our College! Prior to our assembly, Councillor Doran also took time to meet with our Junior Council members and College Captains to talk about leadership, youth voices, and making a difference in the community!
Congratulations to our Junior Council Representatives, and voucher winners: Ayati Gor, Tahani Sarwar, Austin Beattie and Amelia Witkowski!
