Today the QFSL Grand Final arrived and what a way for our Senior Girls ASPIRE Footballers to send off our Year 12 girls with an extremely hard fought win! The girls were able to overcome the extreme heat and playing most of the game down a player, after a very early send off to take the game into penalties. The girls prevailed in a penalty shoot out to win 3-1!
Earlier in the day, our Junior Boys team were able to grind out a 1-1 draw, also go into penalties. Unfortunately they did not have the same success in the penalty shoot out, but can hold their heads up high knowing they played extremely well!
