RACQ Driver Distraction Program

Last week our Year 12 Students experienced the RACQ Driver Distraction Program, empowering young drivers by providing an opportunity to understand the realities of cognitive overload and the very real impact this has on their ability to concentrate and manage the complex task of driving. Through meaningful conversation, students explored one of the most concerning of the Fatal Five – Distraction – and strategies that they can use to effectively manage this as a driver.

We encourage our parents to ask your child what they learnt in last week’s RACQ Driver Distraction road safety program, and to continue this conversation with them regarding the positive choices they can make as a driver or passenger.
