Recently, our Year 3 students were thrilled to welcome Street Science for an exciting day of hands-on learning and discovery!
Throughout the day, students explored a range of chemical reactions, using thermometers to investigate how heat can be produced and absorbed. They also tested the ability of different materials to conduct thermal energy and observe how they allow state change.
To finish the day, students were amazed by the signature Street Science Heat Energy show. Featuring spectacular fire and liquid nitrogen demonstrations, students discovered how heat can be produced, transferred between objects and have dramatic observable effects on materials around us.
